Daddy Made Me Cry And Made Me Die

Mom was braiding my hair when daddy got home
Out with his buddies, the streets they did roam.
Daddy looked mad mommy took me in arms.
Daddy pulled out a gun, mommy told me to run
I ran to my room just as fast as I could
I didnt want to leave mommy but I knew that I should
Through bawling and crying I heard mommy scream
Daddy was hurting her, wake me up from this dream
One small final crack and mommy's screaming did cease
Daddy had killed her and was coming for me.
I hid in my closet under some toys
When daddy came in I made no noise.
I clasped my fingers over my face
But I knocked over a box in all of my haist
Daddy opened the door and pulled me out.
He had one hand on my neck and one hand on my mouth
With me to the wall and a gun to my head
I accepted the fact that I'd soon be dead.
Daddy pulled the trigger and my ears rang.
I flew up to heaven and angels sang.
At least Im with mommy forever more
And when daddy is sober I'm sure he'll be torn.
I love my mom and I love my dad
But what dad did to mommy sure made me sad.
