Remember your hand upon my skin?

The way your touch could make me sin

Drinking into your emerald eyes sparkled green

Trying to remember how to breathe in between

You wanted me as much as I felt the same

Pointed your arrow at me and aimed

We fell and laughed our troubles away

There wasn't a time nor place a day

Shattered down when you told me you had her

It was like you forgot how we were

Walked away and soon forgot

What was possible and now what was not

A wall smashed upon us and I did not see

How badly I thought we were suppose to be

The clocked ticked twelve and your fantasy with her faded

We shared another common, you see, we were both now left so jaded

In the light of day you were alone

I went to grab your hand but you were so stone

I left you there for you looked through me

All I wanted was to show some sympathy

The way your eyes would draw me near

Now razors that strike too much fear

Understand this, if nothing at all

Honey, baby, I could have been your waterfall

But now I'm trapped in a small pond

The same as you but far beyond

We were so close and yet so far away

Regret clutter my soft head every single day

Sink back into bed and try to remember how you held me

Try and forget our everything
