A toast to outsiders

Condemned to being different,
Always told to conform,
Why the endless percistence,
Who is the norm?

Heavy make-up,
Not my choice,
Using the lungs,
Still no voice.

Trapped in a classroom,
All eyes stare,
They still look at the girl,
with the perfect hair.

They say no one likes you,
They call you stuck up,
If youre not with them,
Pray for luck.

Please be different,
Never stand down,
When others are smiling,
Why not frown?
