Free Me

They say “you’re pretty, what more could you want?”
A person to care I don’t want to flaunt.
Beauty’s a waste on me.
It’s something I don’t see.
I don’t care to know.
How my skin can glow.
Our how to bring out my eyes.
I’d rather get rid of the lies.
That circle around me like a pack of bears.
No one has any cares.
Just a bunch of people looking at you.
Like there’s something you’re supposed to do.
Like I’m supposed to do a trick like a captured kangaroo.
Well you’re wrong if you think,
You’ll get a wink.
Out of me.
Don’t you see.
There’s nothing you go do to get me.
I’m untouchable and free.
