Wonderland

Wonderland
by Sawyer Stahl

I'm in a cell and bound with chains,
and I wonder, is this my fate?
all I want is to be set free.
Please, someone, rescue me.

If there's a land somewhat utopic,
If there's a place just a little bit perfect,
then wouldn't it be just grand?
to go to that place... that Wonderland.

Where there are Houses of Candy and Cookie Mountains,
and just your favorite drinks run from the fountains,
and it's filled with forests of Candy Cane,
where Ice Cream falls when it rains.

And just the people I want will go to this world of mine;
everyone elese will be left behind.
I'm gonna go, so take my hand...
we are off... to Wonderland

Where children run, and laugh, and play,
and you can just sleep all day,
where the day ends when you want it to,
where the night is over when your sleep is through.

it's a place where you can say what you want,
and it's a place where you can go where you want,
it's a place a place where you can do what you like,
and no one tells you otherwise.

Because I will be King of this Realm,
so into my Madness, won't you delve?
Go ahead- take a stand.
We're on our way... to Wonderland.

When you see it, your eyes will gleam,
as you see that world you saw in a dream,
in that amazing land, the perfect place to be;
it's specially reserved for you and me.

We will reach it by Shooting Star...
Do not worry, it's not too far.
So come on- take a chance,
because we're here... Wonderland.
