Dead

Golden arks of sunshine
Jade green eyes
She danced in the forest
Gliding gracefully with angelic sighs

Home. She explores, her
Bare feet padding softly as she ran
She was happy
Her beautiful and entrancing song began

Echo. The trees amplified her voice.
Birds sang with her
She laughed and rejoiced

She thought it could never end
But it did
To her, his curse he would lend

Appearing out of nowhere, he came
So much blood
A thirst her blood could not tame

So now she lives, her heartbeats no more
Dead
She can no longer bask is the sunlight she longs for

So she hides behind a smile
She fears for what would happen, if she were found unhappy
So she remains, his lily of the Nile
So she might spare some sliver of life he had granted her
