When We Scream

When we scream they don’t hear us.

When we whisper they all seem to know.

All we wanted was a look in the eye.

But all we get is a look of disgust.

We’re no different then you, no different then them.

We are not above you and we are not below.

We have lived a hard life but we do not complain.

We have worked hard to stay alive, no matter how much you wish it we are not about to stop.

If you hurt us we will cry, but we are not out for revenge.

If you love us, we will try to love you.

We walk together.

You walk alone.
