The Moon's Affair

blue moon's melting down the sea
kissing the waves,
broken up coral, red, sick-blood red, sick-red, bad-blood red,
glitters on the moon's trembling, decompising fingers.
celestial nails carving clawing at the edge of the sea,
folding it backwards into oblivion
gulping it back into the sky's gutted insides
all full of brilliant sparkles and starry eyes and cries
the melting blue moon sets its charm on the unyielding sea, throws kisses and skips some beats,
it, the sea, softens, just like blue butter in the heat of the moment,
and breaks up at oblivion
digested to little crystal cathartic bits of heaven
as the humans gape and measure up their awe-torn eyes, their gaping skins and aching conciouses
the sea twists and braids itself to the fabric of the sky's brilliant guts,
gloating glowling gleaming guts grasping every hesitant sea-atom
and the humans seek to fix the scrapes of their fractured mind
"the ever so mighty sea
got drunk by
the weak innocent sky"
the sky's smile pours salt
as the sea sleeps, in love,
eternally
