Fairytales are tales of Love with princes&princesses [and etc.]
Weren’t WE once a prince&princess in love?
You were funny, handsome, a gentleman even.
Yet you were mysterious at times…
I immediately fell head over heels in love for you
You could make me smile& laugh so hard without even trying
I knew I wanted no one else but you
And you wanted me
Or so it seemed.
We made great memories together didn’t we?
We partied, we laughed, and we were kind of inseparable huh?
It really felt as though we were in a fairytale don’t you think?
So why didn’t we get our happy ending?
In fairytales don’t they always get the happy ending?
So why didn’t we get one?
Why did everything fall apart?
Was our life not a fairytale after all?
Were we just kidding ourselves and messin around?
I guess not all Fairytales are sweet.
