The Wall

If I put up a wall between us,
don't think I wanna keep you out.
That wall is only there
to see who breaks it down.

It's been quite a long time...
Not a soul has tried...
Does no one want to rescue me?
Will it even matter if I just die?

Trapped inside,
with a mirror in hand,
I stare at that lonely face,
so desperate, so sad...

My wall is still up,
not even a crack...
If no one tries to break it,
I'll never come back...
