Heart Replacement

Cut out my heart and put it on a table
You can try to fix it if you think you're able
So by all means operate all night
And pray to God you make it right
Knowing you're trying to fix it makes me feel better
But I feel it now, death getting closer
You have to put my heart back
Even if it's not intact
Close your eyes and put it in
Though it's broken it beats again
I'm hardly alive with it back in my chest
This is not living I must confess
I make a decision and wish you the best
With my last dying breath.
