Cotton
Ominous clouds cover the sky.
The sun is nowhere to be found.
Cotton fields of fluffy white
Are surrounded by trees, allowing
No light to escape their leaves.
A wave of nostalgia washes over me.
I tilt my face to the heavens
And let the sky swallow me whole.
The sun is nowhere to be found.
Cotton fields of fluffy white
Are surrounded by trees, allowing
No light to escape their leaves.
A wave of nostalgia washes over me.
I tilt my face to the heavens
And let the sky swallow me whole.
