The Thoughts of a Dying Man (or Woman) - (Aged 17 - October 1996)
I wake to see the sunset;
A Deep Purple and red.
I sit and weep a happy tear
From the covers of my bed.
I think about my life;
What I would change if I could.
I sit and weep a sorrowful tear
Knowing that I should.
I think about my family;
The life force of my soul.
I sit and weep a happy tear
For Whom the Bell Tolls.
Lastly,
I think about what my family are thinking
And I say
"I am not dead.
My Body has departed
But my spirit and soul remain".
A Deep Purple and red.
I sit and weep a happy tear
From the covers of my bed.
I think about my life;
What I would change if I could.
I sit and weep a sorrowful tear
Knowing that I should.
I think about my family;
The life force of my soul.
I sit and weep a happy tear
For Whom the Bell Tolls.
Lastly,
I think about what my family are thinking
And I say
"I am not dead.
My Body has departed
But my spirit and soul remain".
