The Dispossessed

The company of the silver-haired maiden
Arrives at their enemy's palace;
There a girl is hidden
Who had a staff that shone like glass.

She explains her mission to the army
And they nod in reply;
The group does not leave her be
For she might as well die.

Now fighting beside the maiden
She helps her using her healing powers;
While the other three men
Fight to protect her.

While absorbed in battle
A green-haired rogue comes by;
He shakes the door and it rattles
And he opens it with only one try.

The silver-haired maiden
Glances at the unsuspected rogue;
She feels her face redden
And he flashes a thumbs up to her.

The warrior continues to attack
While the priestess hides behind his back;
The yellow-haired archer raises his bow and arrow
While the aggressive myrmidon points his sword at his foes.

They all beat up their enemies
Except for the one, final boss;
The green-haired rogue steps forward with ease
And threatens him that it will be his loss.

The knight wears a furious expression
And he charges at the rogue;
The rogue remembers his mission--
He is to kill the enemy and to protect the maiden.

He dodges just in time
And strikes the knight's head with his dagger;
His weapon is filthy with grime
And the knight weakly staggers.

He drops down on all fours
And meets his death;
The brigade cheers to the core
And their foe wastes his last breath.
