Final Farewell

You could cry forever; no one would ever know.
Your tears could fall whenever; the pain would never show.
No one is around to answer your call.
Or to catch you when you fall.
There isn't a single freind standing by your side.
And your love for life has withered and died.
"Nothing" is wrong, although everything is broken.
The only way to ease the pain is through words that weren't spoken.
So here you are, all alone in the dark.
Your only desire was to make your mark.
On a world that rejects you; a family who doesn't care.
Instead you get out a blank peice of paper and stare.
Then you start to write everything down.
How you want to leave this sad little town.
And a sob wells up in your throat.
As you write your last good-bye in a note.
