Hidden

It hurts
To be alone for so long,
As if I was playing
A game of hide and seek
And tired of the waiting,
Hoping that someone will come,
Come and look behind the curtain,
See past my false smile,
And try to mend the broken soul
I've keep deeply hidden all along.

I hide my face in sorrow,
Hide my face in shame;
I drown in bright red tears,
The drops of blue and red
Mixing until they all look the same.
My shoulders droop,
My smile fades,
The light gone from my face;
Sunlight turns to rain,
The skys turning grey;
Won't someone see through my charades?
Cuz I'm tired of the hiding,
Tired of lifes game.
