Stuck in a Nightmare

Her bruised lips,
Her slit wrists,
Her black eyes,
Her tortured soul,
What has happened to this innocent blue eyed girl,
Was it her dear daddy?
The evil man who took her innocence...
Who tore her soul apart and threw it away,
The same man that was supposed to protect her from harm?
The same man that brought her life...
What happened to mommy?
Well,her life was taken,
By the same sick man who raped his child,
Took a knife and cut her open,
Played with her insides,
A grin upon his face,
Too bad dear daddy got away with it,
And came after her,
Ripped off her clothes and the dirty deed was sealed...
All the while she screamed in pain,
But dear daddy just kept on going,
And after that night he always came back,
During the day beating her to near death,
Soon she had no friends, no family,
She was on her own,
With her sick father,
She believed it was all her fault,
And that dear daddy was just sick...
Soon she told someone the dirty truth,
They sent her away,
To the hospital she went,
Where she downed pills to take away the pain,
But one too many,
And she lay on the floor,
Lips bitter blue,
Stomach full of pills,
And a head full of nightmares.
