Forribiden crush

Part I

Sipping coffee
Gazes locking
As two strangers meet

Heads swirling
Heart racing to
the indie rock beat

He says hi
She waves him a sour good bye
As she hits the street

Monday came
As quick as the school bell rang
When the lovers
meet again

He was a prep
She was curious about death
How could this ever be

He pondered
un-sober
For he was intoxicated by her beauty

He was love drunk
Dumb struck
From heaven's ungrateful plague

For he lacked black
And daring at for he wanted her so dearly

But they never met
Never crept
Into each other's heart

A touching poem
About a boy that can't get what he wants
I'll be writing
