Love Lost Like Rain

Losing hope he will come back for me

Maybe everything he said was in dream

He proclaimed it was meant for us to be

Well could this just be part of his grand scheme

Several times I have been lied to by him

Maybe he lied when he confessed his love

Like a fish who has forgotten to swim

I feel like I’m drowning and he is above

Did he ever love me or was that a lie

Confused and hurt I just want to give up

If I stay to long I feel love might die

Maybe it’s just my view of that half empty cup

No he is not worth it not worth the pain

I will just let these tears fall down like rain.
