City Show

Sitting here now,
Ready to give the city,
A show better than ever before.
And the city screams below,
Chanting for me to go on.
I can only imagine there faces,
As the show goes on.
Rid of the anxiety in me,
I peek over the edge of my stage.
Now seeing my fans,
Screaming up to me,
Telling me to go on.
I slip off my concrete stage,
Falling through endless time,
From my stage to my fans.
I watch their horror-struck faces,
As i'm falling,
Falling ,
Falling,
Towards them.
There screams grow louder,
Appreciation of the show,
Yet only muted to my ears.
I've closed my eyes,
Ready to hit.
I know my fans won't catch me.
Closer than before,
My fans part away,
Making room for my landing.
Soon everyone is watching my show,
And soon the show is over.
The Star of it
Bloody.
Scattered.
Across the endless crowd.
