Why did you do this to me?

I looked around my room
-supposedly my safe haven-
searching
wondering if it was safe
well it was but only for so long

Just as i tried too stand up but
i fell back onto my bed
ouch
an onslaught of pain
crippling pain i looked
at
my arms:
bruised
my legs:
bruised even worst
black-purple patches and spots
covered my like a leopard

why??
why did you hurt me?
thats what i need to know
i need to get out
before it happens again
i need to leave you
and your abusive self
behind
