Night

Deep in the night, something stirs.
A child about five, shoots up in bed.
Tapping at his window, a sound that doesn't stop.
He runs to his parent's room.
Sliding open the door, he chokes back a sob.
The monster, the noise maker looks up with amber yellow eyes.
Blood on its muzzle, the blood of his parents.
The boy screams his last breath as the amber yellow eyes dissappear into the night,
