MY FAIRY TALE DISASTER

When I was young
I used to run free
Like a little wanderer
Wandering off where my feet can take me

I created my own fairy tale
Building castles floating on air
With precious jewels adorning my body
Elegant dresses giving me beauty

Maid servants surrounding me
Following every order I give
And gallant knights standing beside me
Protecting me from any harm that may come

The poor I scorned and pitied
Rich men I danced and flirted
I was a majesty in my own kingdom
A royalty to be envied by many

I got stuck in this fairy tale I made
The real world started to fade
The enchanted world of my fairy tale
Took hold of what's best of me

But every tale has an end
My fairy tale turned to nightmare
I got lost in the enchanting world I made
Time was chasing me away

My castles disappeared with the breeze
My jewels shuttered and broken
My dresses dirty and torn
Oh! What a pity I had become

My servants ran away and left
My knights abandoned and deserted me
No one will serve me now
No one will protect me

The poor I scorned now laughed and pitied me
The rich men I danced went in hiding
I was a majesty exiled in my own kingdom
A royalty now hated by many

And so i continued to wander off
Anywhere my feet can take me
But I was no longer as free like before
For i was no longer young as time chase me away
