I'm tempted
but it's spring.
Short sleeves and tank tops
exposed everywhere.
Cannot hide the scars
on my arms.
The "A" forever marked.
If I slide it across,
it will surely show red.
For at least a few days.
Anywhere.
Everyone will ask,
"Are you okay?"
if I resort to
dragging something sharp,
and pointy,
across my arms
