Warnings

"Turn around, turn around!"
Warned the watching mouse,
as a young girl entered the house.

Quietly, she closed the door,
As she examined the dark hallway,
Barely had she heard something say,

"Do not go! Do not go!"
She moved forward as the floors creaked,
and smelled something that reeked.

She ran for her dear life,
Wanting out of the house,
"Danger! Danger!" screamed the mouse.

"There goes another one..."
The mouse said with a sigh.
Saying that she escaped would have been a lie.
