Playground

She smiles as they get near

The playground in sight

She runs to the swings

Pushing her feet to gain height.

She jumps off in mid-air

And runs to the slide

She pushes off to gain speed

With her hands up, she enjoys the ride

She runs to the monkey bars

And passes each one slow

She finishes and bows

Her mother claps for her finished show.
