Broken

You can never tell .. I'm Broken,
I hide behind a smile,
Act without flaws,
Yet I utter a silent plea

As Eyes tell of untold tragedies ...
And Tears fall like raindrops ...
… My Soul Burns Like wildfire

Thoughts run through my mind,
Yet the thought that screams the loudest is …
SHE HATES ME.

Muffled cries of agony
Tear-stained cheeks
Mind churning with possibilities,
Nowhere to turn … I'm lost
Nothing to say … I've given up

Yet slowly But Surely …
Lips curve into a bright smile …
And a silent plea is uttered with desperate looks.
I try and pretend … I wish and dream to no avail.
