Shades of Crimson.

And as a sea of people flood this stifling place,
I only sea one thing; one face.
Calling your name in my head, wishing you'd turn back,
But you can't hear me, you move on.
as I watch you fade into the crowd, new faces emerge.
Still yours burns the brightest in my mind, crimson.
I wish I could move on, see new colors.
I want to focous on the deepest greens and blues,
but all I see are scarlets and maroons, your hues.
six years burnt into my retinas, all I can see today.
Hours pass like seconds, all is lost in time.
I know I should have given up years ago,
But deep down inside, where only you have been,
You remain, the most delicate red, pulsating,
Alive.

This one is for you, Lisa. Because you flood my vision with the most heartfeld shades of crimson, erasing the shades of gray. Never will i forget you, and all the memories past.
