Wrapped In Summer

My darling

How are you

This fine summers day?

You look really pretty

In the sun

That hopefully will stay

Would you like to go swimming

In the pool or in the lake?

Would you like to hang out

And maybe find something to bake?

We could use the black berries

We collected all day

It doesnt matter what we do

As long as you will stay

I'll pick all of the berries

So I can share them with you

And then we'll sit in the shade

And think of something new to do

Let's go ride our bikes

Down to the water park

Let's swing on the swings

Till we want to barf

Then we can play with our dolls

And my doll house that's missing doors

Or we could dance and sing

To that song that we both adore

All these things I still remember

From those summer days

All those good memories

That the two of us made

I'll tell you something honest

Something very true

Out of all the things I dearly miss

The thing I miss the most is you
