Sleep, my dearest friend
Why do you evade me
I long for your company
And yet you turn me away
Such a peaceful night it is
And all my thoughts are on you
Where are you hiding
I can't find you

My body literally aches for you
And yet you are off somewhere far away
The world is waking up now
And we still haven't meet
I fear we never will meet tonight
Oh how I'd love to meet you right now
But now I have obligations and can not see you
Yet now is when you'd liked to make my acquaintance

Yet like last night you hide again
Why can't we meet on my time?
