High-Way of My Life

I'm driving on the high-way
Of my own life
My friends and my family
All crammed in the backseat
Sometimes they're up here with me

Sometimes it feels like I'm not driving
Some days it feels like I'm riding 'round in circles
Everyday it feels like I just stopped

But that's all gonna change
Everyone's gonna see
I'm going to make my dreams a reality
I'm following my heart
Letting it lead me to victory

I'm taking my time
Not gonna speed through life
Because in the end
It'll all be worth it

I know I'm ungrateful
So I wanna say sorry
I'm sorry if I ever said that I hate yah
You did so much for me
You all made me who I am today

I wanna say thank you to everyone
Who are in my life
Even if we never talked
Back in my past
Even though we haven't met
Forward in my future

But that's all gonna change
Everyone's gonna see
I'm going to make my dreams a reality
I'm following my heart
Letting it lead me to victory

These roads are long
Seemingly endless
With millions of choices
Oh, I hope I've been doing right

Sometimes I look back
At all my mistakes
But I never seem to regret
Any of them
Because of them I am who I am today

Some days I'll look forward
Thinking about my future
I've already started to plan
Making my dreams happen
Even though it's far away
I'm not afraid of planning forward

But that's all gonna change
Everyone's gonna see
I'm going to make my dreams a reality
I'm following my heart
Letting it lead me to victory

I'm not giving up
I'm gonna fight for my dreams
I'm gonna make 'em happen
I'm gonna make them a reality
Just you wait and see

I'm gonna grab a pen and a piece of paper
And I'm gonna plan
The beginning of all my dreams
Just you wait and see

I'm on the road
To all of my dreams
I'm in the driver's seat
Because I'm in control of my life
This high-way better make some room
For this dreamer and
Her friends and family

But that's all gonna change
Everyone's gonna see
I'm going to make my dreams a reality
I'm following my heart
Letting it lead me to victory.
