Death By Solitude

Do you really know how it feels?
Your heart crushed beneath stiletto heels,
Your soul yearning to break away,
So those tears you'll cry another day.
Do you really know what it's like?
To blow out every match you strike
Where the spark of friendship disappears
And ever more that grim end nears.
Do you really understand the pain?
Though I hide it, my attempts are in vain.
A change is coming for the worse,
Sure to end in a shining black hearse.
For my heart, it dies of solitude,
Till someone comes with love renewed
To revive my restless mind
And all my doubts I leave behind.
