In This Factory

Old factory hum,
Working,
ankles numb.

No birds but it squeaks,
Singing,
No bolts tweaked.

Blood stains still crust,
Dirtied,
walls cleaned it must.

No cries anymore,
Quiet,
No one is adored.

Never anymore,
Never,
For this factory with no store.

All a prisoner,
Lost ,
None considered.

We are forgotten,
unremembered ,
Just lost cotton.

We all screamed,
Stopped,
accepted what things seemed.

But still it's a lie ,
Always,
When we say we won't die.

Still in this factory,
Trapped,
My children I'll never see.

Not that anyone cares,
In this factory.
