Open the door
Look down to the floor
A pile of letters
That can’t be ignored.

No food to be seen
The cheese has gone green
Look out the window
Oh, what a scene!

The grass needs cut
Mower’s in the hut
Can’t find the key
And it’s locked shut.

The fish are dead,
Cat’s chewed the bed
Getting under my feet
I know, you need fed!

Look around with a groan,
If only I’d known,
What would greet me,
