Tonight we all die young.

Oh, how we wish that this was true.

We'd give up everything,

To have a moment more with you.

We all know it was much too soon,

And you were far too young,

To leave us all so blindly numb.

At the ripe young age of 28,

Not two months from your birthday,

You left this world and us behind,

With broken hearts we're grieving.

Only one question was on our minds,

"When do I get to meet you?"

Hopefully not for a long, long time,

'Cause we know you're watching us grow.
