Parents Aren't Always Right

I love you,
You love me.
Why can’t our parents,
Just let us be.

They don’t understand,
Probably never will.
Our love is bigger than that,
It isn’t just a thrill.

I wish they could see,
How perfect we can be.
If they’d just stay out of it,
How better it would be, you and me.

But alas they think,
Our love is just a fling.
We’ll show them,
I’m going home with a ring.
