Mending Hearts

The burning on my cheeks as I talk to you in peace.
The laughter we bring to each other that doesn't seem to cease.

The smile that has been so dormant for me seems to be stuck on my face.
With open arms I welcome it that feels so true willingly embrace.

Young love that blossoms fits us well don't you think my love.
Your beauty inspires me for you're my Saviour dove.

Hours pass by with laughter and such comfort wishing it not to end.
But I cannot control life as much as I wish and with time I cannot bend.

No sand left in hands as we spent it all with passion.
No worry about the outer world or their overrated fashion.

So till tomorrow I have to go and talk to you I will.
But a few more words I saved till last whilst my time be still.

Please tell me this is love and not something misted over my sight.
For I think it's true and I hope you do, because it feels so right.
