Haunted

Light among the Darkness
That’s all I’ve ever wanted
Evil thoughts and sights
Are all that ever haunt me

The Evil is every where
But no one ever cares
Even though it’s the reason
For all their unseen tears

They go about their every day lives
Without a single glance back
So they can’t even see that they are the only target
In a massive attack

The darkness is taking over and we don’t even see it
Even though we walk around with targets on our backs
We can’t help but follow
In the unyielding attacks

When will light triumph over darkness
When will it help this dark and haunted place?
Or will it abandon us
I hope that’s not the case

Will we stand up against the darkness?
Or cower in fear?
Will we stand with those in light?
Or continue to hide unwanted tears?
