Give Me Something To Sing About

Life's a show
And we all play our parts
And when the music starts
We open up our hearts

It's all right
If some things come out wrong
We'll sing a happy song
And you can sing along

Where's there's life
There's hope, everyday's a gift
Wishes can come true
Whistle while you work
So hard all day
To be like other girls
To fit in in this glittering world

Don't give me songs...

Don't give me songs
Give me something to sing about (Ahhhhh...)
I need something to sing about

Life's a song
You don't get to rehearse
And every single verse
Can make it that much worse

Still, my friends don't know why I ignore
The million things or more
I should be dancing for

All the joy, life sends
Family and friends
All the twists and bends
Knowing that it ends
Well, that depends
On if they let you go
Or if they know enough to know
That when you've bowed
You leave the crowd

There was no pain
No fear, no doubt
Till they pulled me out
Of Heaven
So that's my refrain
I live in Hell
'Cuz I've been expelled
From Heaven
I think I was
In Heaven

So, give me something to sing about
Please
Give me something

This is from Buffy TVS. But I had a tough day today and yesterday, this reminded me of it. At my concert last night, I tripped over someone's cello and broke the bridge, it was a school rental, and she wanted me to give her mine, the one I Own, I don't rent it, i own it.
It was all easier before this year. I said 'I am on our side of the parking lot." without thinking to the percussion teacher (also orchestra teacher) before the parade, I just got put even higher on his bad student list. He was my favorite teacher, now, I don't like him as much. I broke a cello, and? I didn't do it on purpose, the cellist (I am a cellist too, I sat next to her and she put her cello in front of my chair so I tripped on it.) Is telling anyone and everyone that I told her I did it on purpose. Now I'm angry, but I'm ignoring it, Sure, I'll attempt to get enough money to repair the school's cello, seeing as he is now going to send me the bill for it, even though if he'd look it how I'm paying for my saxophone, (I'm not, thats it, I don't have the money so they're letting me use it for free).
