Before I met you, I was a lifeless shell
Before I met you, I was in hell
I never laughed, I never smiled

I was like the walking dead
I never cared what people said
Then this brilliant radiant tiny thread wound around my heart

When I was down that thread would shine,
Hara you are my life-line

You gave me hope when no one else could
You comforted me when no one else would
We are in the same boat you and I
And somehow you managed to light up my dark sky

You are kind and sweet
Strong and willful
I view you as my guardian angel
We may be far apart

But I can feel you in my heart
I know I’ll die one of these days
But at least I’ll have known your wonderful grace
