The One I Love

What I've come to find
Is that the only thing
That is worth searching for
Is someone that you can hold close
And keep with you forever

But only the true love
Is what you must trust
There is only one
And there will be confusion
And the choice will be difficult

But my way of choosing
Is that if you find one
That every hurt on them
Also hurts you
And becomes your pain

Then that is the one
That you care so dearly for
That you would protect them
No matter what may come your way
That is the one you love
