Twilight Hours

Twilight hours
from dusk
to
dawn
our spirits
are free
but
in a dreaming state

they mingle
and debate
cross dimensions
and Rome
with no
boundaries
no shape
no form

what are they really
things we cannot see
the beings that we wont let out
unless we are asleep

these are our true natures
not this fleshy corps
but for some reason
we have been trapped
and caught

our dreams are visions
our visions are true
and the truth
it all we seek in this world

but as we seek
our thirst grow as well
our knowledge, and facts
all go to our heads

more and more
we push things aside
when
there is
a simpler
approach
to life

Twilight hours
its an eerie time
for there is darkness
all through the night

a blanket of black
so day creatures rest
so night ones have
there fare chance
