Breaking Lymphortamy

Walking in circles
When we should be walking in a straight line.
Seeing in gray
When we should be seeing in black and white.
Thinking that we can survive
When we should know that we can't.
Trying to get our lives back
When we should be trying to sell what's left.
Trying to solve problems
When we should be ignoring them.
Jumping to the bottom
When we should be climbing to the top.

So why can't you just break away?
Please, won't you escape with me?
'Cause it's about time we forsake
This goddamned lymphortamy.

(A/N: Lymphortamy (n.) the status quo; the norm.)
