First Day

It's our first day back,
I just wanna laugh,
Or maybe just wanna cry,
'Cause there's no more goodbyes,

Me and my best friends,
Together again,
Good to be with some friends,
I ain't seen in awhile,

I know it's weird to say,
That I've missed this place,
But I feel like I belong,
And everything is as it should be,

Have the usual sleepovers,
Someone always gets hurt,
But we don't care,
'Cause that's how it always goes,

I think this year will be great,
I'm no longer a Freshman,
One year closer to driving,
How much better is it gonna get,
