That Little Girl. -RE EDIT

A little girl, she’s all alone
With a past she cannot condone

A perfect life she had one day
It all slipped through, it went away

No one knew, no one could
Even though she knew they should

She cut then bled
He smacked her head

The bruises as purple as a grape
In the night you can hear cries of rape

Her parents fought twenty-four seven
She wanted to die rise up to heaven

But that would solve her parent’s flaws
It wouldn’t fix her father’s disregard for laws

Now the bruises are yellowy-green
All in places that cannot be seen

One way or another her life will end
She will flip, fly around the bend

Her life’s a mess she is stuck
When it comes to happiness she’s out of luck

Back to blue, purple and black
Her father never cuts her slack

Now this is where the story stops
Her life continues in a series of flops

A little girl, who feels alone
A father’s mistake she can never condone
