Seasons of Life.

The leaves fall downward,
Onto the ground gracefully,
Into moving streams.

They are piled up,
Above the heads of people,
In moldy colors.

The days get colder,
And the snow begins to fall,
Covering the leaves.

Ice begins to form,
Cascading off the rooftops,
They reflect the sun.

Soon, snow is melting
Leaving puddles in their wake,
Things begin to thaw.

Soon now the birds sing,
The flowers begin to sprout,
The springtime is here.

From spring comes summer,
Bright sweltering sun above,
The machines will hum.

Again the leaves turn,
Crops begin to disappear,
And appear in meals.
