Cause your living in a nightmare
lets face it
Life's not a dream...

I'm clinging to this madness
hoping it will help me out..
Trying to kill this feeling
the empty that comes with doubt..

I'm holding to the memory
the smile
that's on your face...
Trying to keep from breaking
as I fall
and lose my place...

Wishing I could wake up
Wishing I could turn away..
But I'm frozen in the headlights,
trying to survive one more day..

Holding back these tears
as I try
to find the way...
Tell me Life's not easy
then tell me
it will be okay...

Wish I could be your fortress.
Wish I could make your dreams come true..
In the end I'm only worthless
cause I don't know what to do..

Pull another petal
and drop it
to the ground...
Know that I'm the center
waiting
to be found...

Tell me that you can't wait,
tell that I'm all you need..
Or tell me that it's to late,
tell me so I can be freed...
