but they darkened in respone to my lies.

gave me all the strenght i needed
to be strong
although everything around me went wrong.

we were
closer than anything
i depended on you
you helped me through this thing.

but why
did we start fighting then
we were too stubborn
so no on could win.

our fights
were getting worse
we couldn't break the curse.

now our friendship
has fallen apart
the fights
have hardened our hearts.

and so you see
we can't play pretend
because the damage we did to this relationship
is too serious to mend.
