Poem #9: Chains

I'm a wreck
Oh yes
But not broken just yet
You can only dream
of the horrors I've seen
I am bond in these chains
This chain of memories hold me tight
This just isn't a fair fight
I catch my breath and try again
This might tear me apart
How could I possibly fend
for myself
I am terrified
Buried in pain
Free Me
Free Us
So much in vain
I have faced on my own
I've finally found my way
Please don't tear me apart
I might just fall
I am terrified
