Abusive Love

I look into your crystal blue eyes
In the dim light they seem to shine.
We lay next to eachother and I don't know why...
But whenever I see you, my heart seems to fly.

You blink and slowly look at me.
Your eyes twinkle so sweet.
It's freezing but I feel heat .
I look at your lips and remember I beat.

"I'm sorry," I say as you start to tear.
I'm filled with shame, you're filled with fear.
"Don't be," you say as I start turning away from here.
I feel like the collision of headlights and a deer.

I look in your eyes and wipe your tear away .
I say "please dont cry," and you say "okay...
But only if you stop the blame today."
Now I kiss softly, it is my price to pay.

You hold my hand and rub your thumb on my pinkie.
Our eyes eventually meet and you wink at me.
A smile creeps itself on me and your smile I see.
I feel okay again when our lips finally meet.
